    bye bye MS !!

i said those words one day that i started to install Linux

i had a fear that i go back to windows a day or more after i install it, but now i dont think that i’m going back to windows 😀

i can feel that my computer feels democracy 😀

every time i look on the requirments for a software , game or windows i look on the minimum requirments section to see if my PC will handle it or not as i know that the recommended requirments will be not in my PC 😀

with linux i saw the minimum , recommended and searched for any other requirments to see

this is the recomended requirments published on Ubuntu official website

    • 700 MHz x86 processor
    • 384 MB of system memory (RAM)
    • 8 GB of disk space
    • Graphics card capable of 1024×768 resolution
    • Sound card

    • A network or Internet connection

lol, i feel that i can run this OS on a gameboy and it will run smoothly

well this is the third day since i installed vista

i think i’m getting used to it more than the First day

i like the animations, the speed, the start menu search and i found some other useful gadgets.

I know that i can have all those features on XP by installing some patches and programs

but i like to take a test drive for a while 🙂

    so…..

i’ve been planning from over two monthes to install Vista on my Laptop which is

    -1.8 GH 1MB L2 cache Celeron processor

    -1.5 GB Ram

    -120 GB HD

-Intel Graphics Media Accelerator up to 224 MB (i dont know why this particular number 🙂 )

i took all this time planning because i hate to install windows when my current one is working fine 🙂

and now even my windows was still working fine but i wanted to get used to it before the faculty year starts.

    any way..

it have been about 10 hours since i installed it

    it seems nice.

    working smoothly till now
